Synopsis: Bipasha Basu: Bipasha plays the main protagonist Drishti. A tarot card reader, Drishti is also gifted with a vision of what's going to happen. She plays a young widow but is not a gloomy or a depressed character. She accepts that her husband is no more and takes charge of her life. Also she gets to portray her maternal instincts for the first time onscreen by playing the mother of an eight-year old boy.

Sanjay Dutt: Sanjay Dutt plays a school principal, in search of his fiancée who has suddenly disappeared. Drishti helps her out.

Dino Morea: Dino plays the central male character and the mystery revolves around him. He shares a rough relation with his wife. Dino reportedly has put in an amazing performance in character with intense shades in the film.

Neha Dhupia: Neha plays Dino's wife.

Suniel Shetty: Sunil Shetty plays Mohit, a crazy mechanic who has a soft corner for Drishti

Amrita Arora: Amrita plays a mayor's daughter who is a pop singer.

Abhishek Bachchan: Abhishek is the latest addition to the starcast of Rakht. He features in a foot-tapping dance number, which is the Hindi version of the British sensation Blue's hit One Love sung by Shaan.
