Synopsis: 'Sivamani 98480 22338' being directed and produced by Puri Jagannath on the banner of Vaishno Academy, starring top range artiste Nagarjuna. The title itself created a good craze. There is nothing new to explain about the talented director and also about Nagarjuna. Let us know about the film in Puri Jagannath's words. Over to Puri Jagannath:
The character of Nagarjuna in the film is Sivamani, a police officer. His mobile number is 98480 22338. So every one knows him and his mobile number. But his role was not restricted to his job and his dedication towards his job. He will be friendly to all but his mentality is quite strong. It is not completely an action-oriented film. It will be having good dose of comedy too. It is an action-oriented love subject. The movie is going to atract all kinds of viewers.
The director, Puri Jagannath says "'Sivamani' story was not prepared now. Some four ago, I got this thought. Even I have not modified the story to suit the present trend. Only a few scenes and the hero's characterisation were changed to suit Nagarjuna's image. The first scene in an English novel inspired me to prepare this subject. With that inspiration I have prepared the story. Definitely there are no similarities in the subject. It is only an inspiration".
He further adds "When I prepared the story, I have no hero in my mind. I prepared the story, as I liked the storyline. However, I am doing the same subject with a star like Nagarjuna. So, the character needed to be changed to suit his stardom. There is a peculiar tradition abroad. They write their wish on a paper, seal it in a bottle and throw it in the sea. They believe that their wish would be fulfilled if they do like that. Even in India, there is such tradition, where we tie such paper to a tree near a temple and other such ways. These traditions inspired me, so I kept some such scenes in the film".
